NEW YORK CITY

So...after adjusting to a whole new world of time, (and consequently waking up very early much to the annoyance of Becca) we have come to the end of our first day in New York.
This morning we went round Croton and saw the dam, which is 'the third largest hand something...hand carved maybe....the third largest...whatever, it's the third largest in the world' in the words of Becca.
Then we went up Bear mountain. Whilst it would be nice to say we climbed up it like the seasoned hikers we are (not), we gave in to overwhelming temptation that was a car on the drive, so we drove. The top has amazing views so it was great to go up.
Then we went into New York City itself! It was big and had yellow taxis and times square and the empire state building and a massive apple store and New York library and Becca's dad's work building which we went up to see the city from the top floor, and china town and Russel Brand! Who was filming for the film Arthur in Grand Central station.
It was all rather exciting.
We've taken lots of pictures which we will put up here (some of them) in the next few days so watch this space!
